Travelling home from T3CON08

Filed under Notes .While typing this text, I'm sitting in a first class coach somewhere between Berlin and Wuppertal. It's not the first time to ride first class, but the first time I'm doing this with DB. I'm very surprised about the service they offer here in the first class:
- free newspapers
- on-seat waiter service
- free sweets from time to time
That's pretty cool besides that I can really use the time in the train to work on stuff for which I never found time before (mostly because of the all-time disturbances in the office).
So the plan for any upcoming conference is to probably travel by train again, maybe again first class. It's just paying of for me and my company: I can work concentrated during that time but the travel costs are the same than flying (at least this applies for the current journey). And they offer much more space than in a plane - both in the second and first class. So there is a real benefit.
