New keyboard
After having some issues with my old keyboard at home, I bought a new one yesterday: A Logitech Desktop Wave.
When I saw this for the first time on a webshop, I wasn't sure whether this is comfortable to have the keys aligned so "different" from a regular keyboard. Then I fortot about that product until yesterday (Kerstin and I were in the local MediaMarkt when she pointed me to this keyboard). I had the possibility to test drive it in the store - WOW! This keyboard is very quiet, the keys have a good pressure point and the palm rest (Handballenauflage) feels great.
I couldn't resist and had to buy that thing :-)
Alltough the keyboard has many special keys (I'm sure I won't use most of them) that are especially for Windows Vista, it works pretty well with my Mac. Little hint: Install the Logitech driver package! It's great to configure stuff like mouse accelleration, mouse wheel speed and stuff like this.
BTW: The keyboard comes with a mouse. Ok, I didn't want to buy a mouse - but the mouse is fine, too :-)

The downside with such off-standard keyboard is that every other keyboard just will feel weird once you are used to this "wave" keyboard.

Yes thats surely true for keyboards that have real curves. The one I have is a bit special, but not that different from others. I didn't notice any problems when switching to the MacBook Keyboard or the Keyboard of my Lenovo notebook.
