Celebrating an "offline-evening"

Written byBy: Mario Rimann.

After feeling stressed and restless during the last weeks, I decided to celebrate at least one "offline-evening" per week. On this evening, I'll not touch any computer when at home. Instead I'll use the time for relaxing and reading.

Yesterday I did that for the first time "officially" and it was pretty good! I read a bit in the book "The practice of System and Network Administration". It reminded me of some small things that we can improve in our company regarding user communication and planning of maintenance windows. (I just saw on amazon that there is a newer version of the book available, until now I own the old one and will probably finish reading this one first)

I think that work that I didn't finish yesterday because of beeing offline was not that much, as that work that I'll finish today after some rest. So far, I can just recommend to have your personal "offline-evening" to all of you!
