Having fun at the photo studio
Yesterday we (Kerstin, my brother Claudio and I) had some fun at the photo studio of the company where my brother works. As it was the first time to take pictures in a profi studio with professional equipment, I was amazed by the big variety of stuff you need. Just to name some of them:
- a camera (we used a Canon EOS 5d with different lenses)
- big flash lights with soft boxes
- a flash generator
- reflector walls (white/black)
- background(s)
- tripods for camera, light and background
- synch cables
- remote control for the flash
- some more hands to control light and accessoires (beeing model, photographer and helping hand at once is not funny)
The following image shows Kerstin during the set-up phase as she plays with the big soft box we used:
And here's a preview of the resulting imageset.
We shot around 250 photos. Some of them are great, others are good and some are either funny snapshots or of bad quality. But as we were there for playing around and getting first impressions the result is very good and we're all happy with it.
I hope we can go to the studio again and start another series of images :-)
