SwissTUG Talk "TYPO3 Versions"
Written byBy: Mario Rimann.
Filed under TYPO3, Programming .The next meeting of the Swiss TYPO3 User Group (SwissTUG) will take place on Wednesday September 26th 2007 in Zürich. Assai will offer the room for the meeting and some snacks/beverages.
I'll have a short talk about versions in TYPO3 itself and the extensions around. Basically it will cover these topics:
- What can you read out of a version number?
- How to update a TYPO3 instance on a server
- What are the pitfalls?
- How to make it easier (Shell access vs. FTP upload)?
I'm still looking for some more stuff to present: If you have further ideas, questions or experiences you'd like to share: Send them in as a comment or email me.
And of course, everyone is invited to be at the meeting!
